Mobile Secretary of State

Mobile SOS Services are currently suspended due to COVID-19

The Lyon Township Public Library has partnered with the Michigan Secretary of State to bring their Mobile SOS office to our location. The Mobile SOS is a full-service Secretary of State branch office on wheels. Twice a year, the Mobile SOS is in our parking lot, providing the community with quick, convenient access to the following services:

Renew drivers license and ID cards

Obtain license plates and tabs

Title and register vehicles and watercraft

Register to vote and change your addressAnd much more!

You may pay with Mastercard, Visa, Discover, check or cash. Items may be renewed up to 6 months in advance, and no forms are needed beforehand. The vehicle is accessible to people with disabilities. For more information, contact the Secretary of State here.
